If you are ever on a road trip through desert-y stuff (like where I live), listen to U2's The Joshua Tree, especially "In God's Country". It is, quite possibly, the perfect piece of music for living in the desert.
What's the soundtrack for where you live?

Posted by: steve on February 12, 2008 10:25 PMThe song that immediately popped in my head to describe the metro-D.C. area was "Nobody" by Skindred. Or at least the chorus:
Nobody gets out of dis ya pit alive Nobody no body gets out alive No Body gets out of dis ya pit alive No body no body gets out alive
Usually my free-association scares others. But that's a little creepy. I think it's a good thing I'll be going on vacation next week!
