random thoughts
- Tool, referenced in a great post at Think Christian, is a band without description. They are tremendously difficult to listen to, combining nihilistic lyrics with syncopated beats and oppressive guitars. It hurts my spirit a little to listen to their music but MAN they are amazing, lyrically and musically.
- Josh Beckett is a flat-out stud. He is as sure a thing as exists in the baseball postseason these days. Sox in 5.
